Today is the fall equinox. The time of year that the days and nights are the same length. In the Fall the Equinox is the time that the days get shorter and the nights get longer. The earth is going into it's resting period. As I walked along the beach this evening a saw a group having a ceremony to celebrate the Equinox. The wind was blowing in their hair as they stood on the beach and thanked their higher powers. At the same time there were children running after the seagulls oblivious to what the group was doing. That is the beauty of St. Augustine Beach. You can be who you are without anyone making fun of you or trying to stop you.
This is the best time of year to be on St. Augustine Beach. The sun is still shinning, but it is not as hot as it is in the summer. You can swim or just walk. Summer is still holding on. It is not ready to leave. Fall is gently pushing its way in.
Come join me on my walks on the beach. http://www.coastalrealtyfl.com/
