St. Augustine Beach in the Fall

St. Augustine Beach is so beautiful all year long, but in the Fall it is wonderful for all of the people who live here that need a break from the heat and for the vistiors that want to still be able to enjoy the warm weather and not have the threat of snow.  Vistiors have a choice of thousands of Condos to stay in.   Coastal Realty has over 400 of those condos to rent.  You can stay at Crescent Beach at Quail Hollow, Tradewinds, Creston House, Barefoot Trace, Windjammer, Crescent Sandpiper, Coquina, Sand Dollar and many more.  You can stay closer to the City at St. Augustine Beach and Tennis Resort, St. Augustine Beach and Tennis Club, Ocean and Raquet Club, Island South and again many more.  Or if you have a boat you can stay at the Inn at Camachee Harbor. To look at all of the posibilities, click here.

Happy Thanksgiving

Everyone is hustling around to get ready for the Holiday.  The day has been rainy, but tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful.  But even if it rains it will be wonderful.  We need the rain.

One of the good things about living in St. Augustine is that any weather is good.  You can be on the beach if it rains or shines.

Coastal Realty wishes all of you a Happy Thanksgiving.

Getting Ready for the Nights of Lights

Today my maintenance man was shopping for lights to put in one of our properties to get ready for the Nights of Lights.  We light up the city on November 21, 2009 at 5:30 pm.  The whole city will be bathed in white lights.  The white lights commemorate the times that the residents of the city put white candles in all of their windows at Christmas.  The same night there is a Historoic Weapon Firing Demonstration at the Castillo San Marcos, a Candlelight Night Prayer at the Catheral Basillica of St. Augustine and a Betty Griffin Benefit Concert featuring Stephan Robinson at 7:30 pm at the Memeorial Presbyterian Church, 36 Sevilla St.

If you are in St. Augustine for the Lights, you can go to the Amphitheatre for Winter Wonderland.  You can skate, go down the Ice Slide take a carriage ride and make s'mores on the fire pit.  Winter Wonderland is open from November 20th until January 3rd.

Starting November 22nd through January 31st, you might want to take the Holly Joly Chirstmas Trolly Tour.  There is caroling, hot apple cider and homemade cookies on the trolly to add to the fun.  Tours depart continuously between 6 and 8 pm from the St. Augustine Information Center located at Castillo Drive and San Marco Ave,

This is just a few of the events going on during the Holiday Season.  Now is the time to come to the Magical Christmas City of St. Augustine.  We have Room at the Inn. http://www.coastalrealtyfl.com/

Beautiful St. Augustine Beach

This weekend, I went to the beach and watched the kids and dogs running on the beach. As usual I spent more time than I planned just enjoying. We don't realize how much we need a break until we finally take one. This is such a good time to come to ST Augustine.  Check out our Specials.

November in St. Augustine

We made it through October without any hurricanes. We only have 28 days left in the Season. That's good for the people who live here and for the guests.

On October 21, 2009 there was a parade of over 1,000 Harley's. That was a sight to see. The different clubs had their flags flying. Makes you want to own a Harley.

One of the rental agents was down in the Old City yesterday and said they are getting the lights ready for the Nights of Lights. This is a beautiful time of the year in St. Augustine. It is warm enough to walk on the city streets but the lights get you ready for Christmas.

We have plenty of condo's ready for you to come and see our City.
